Our client are a market leading client in the standby power industry, operating across the UK & Europe. They are currently recruiting for an Electrical Generator Engineer to join their Service team ideally in the North West.

This role is a superb opportunity for an Electrically skilled Engineer to get their foot in the door with a reputable client and develop their career. Product training will be provided and the position offers superb growth prospects, as well as plenty of overtime available along with an on call rota to increase earnings.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Undertake standard service activity including load bank proving, major & minor diesel servicing.
Carry out contract maintenance and inspection on a planned basis to recommended standards.
Fault finding and rectification in both Electrical and Mechanical disciplines .
Electrical Installation and commissioning of Control Panels, Changeovers etc.
Servicing of LV switchgear.
Installation of temporary generating plant.
Identify opportunities for extra works (SQD) & recommendations.
Remedial work to contract customers ether planned repairs or as part of a call out facility.
On rota call out response.
Completion and submission of relevant reports to service administration within a timely manner following all site activity.
Comply with all Company Health and Safety Requirements.
Ensure that any activity, task and responsibility required by role in terms of the International Trade Compliance Regulation is managed and performed in full compliance with the Company ITC certification program itself.

Qualifications & Experience Required

Previous experiences within the generator stand by power or related industry.
Experience of Electrical and Mechanical fault finding & rectification.
A good understanding of PLC and microprocessor systems.
Experience in Electrical Installation.
Experience in servicing LV switchgear would be advantageous.
Experience in a field operations role.
Experience of fault finding & rectification
