Well if the answers are yes then look no further as I have a fantastic opportunity for a Field Service Engineer – Heavy Plant / Machinery based in the North West / Lancashire regions. This position as a Field Service Engineer heavy plant would suit an engineer who has previous experience working on heavy equipment used within an industry that is associated with aggregate materials.
This job as a Field Service Engineer is to work for an excellent organisation that values each and every employee. This will be a home based role and travelling to sites within a designated region to work on the heavy equipment.
You will be required to have the following experience and skills:
• Experience of service, maintenance and repair of heavy plant and machinery including – excavators, dumper trucks, crushers and screeners
• Experience with various types of hydraulic systems and conveyor systems
• Ability to fault find and diagnose break downs including respond to emergency breakdowns
• Excellent communication at all levels
• Have an excellent awareness of health & safety standards
Ideally, apprentice trained and qualified to City & Guilds, NVQ’s or equivalent in within a mechanical or plant qualification however they will also look at candidates with similar experience. Excellent salary on offer up to £17.50 per hour (depending on experience) however the salary equivalent is over £55,000 per annum. A fully expensed company vehicle, mobile phone, full PPE / uniform, pension scheme, 28 days holiday and overtime being paid at a premium rates
